Another pleasant surprise here....we camped at Lake Pontchartrain on the edge of the City and managed to get a shuttle into New Orleans in the afternoon.....Maye was great when she read about the Music Festival going on in the French Quarter, so off we went. GREAT Jazz bands playing on a number of stages along Bourbon Street and we spent the afternoon and into the evening looking at art and listening to some great bands!
Enjoyed some authentic Creole cooking downtown and found it fascinating doing some people watching....there certainly were ALL KINDS!!!
The music was great and would be the only reason to consider another trip during their annual Music Festival event...this one was their 31st Annual.....
